Haruka 3
The third installment of the Haruka series is coming to PS2 on December 22. Once again a normal high school student finds herself thrown back in time. This time, Kasuga Nozomi finds herself in the middle of the famous civil war between the Genji (Minamoto clan) and Heike (Taira clan) at the end of the Heian era (around 1180AD). She is taken in by the Minamoto clan as Priestess of the Dragon God and must fight against the Taira clan and the evil spirits they have unleashed.
There's no page for the game yet. But you can see the new main character here.
There will be 3 versions for sale. The regular version is 7,140 yen. The premium box is 9,240 yen and comes with a folding fan and special CD. The twin pack (or premium pack) comes with the regular versions of Haruka3 and Haruka2 for PS2 for 10,200 yen.


Haruka TV Series
The first volume with episodes 1&2 will be available on DVD on January 28, 2005. There will be a regular version for 3,990 yen, and a premium version for 6,090 yen with a speical box that holds 3 volumes, liner notes, lami cards, and a special CD with interviews and music clips.

Haruka OVA 2
Shiroki Ryuu no Miko (Priestess of the White Dragon) is a new OVA based on the characters in the 2nd game which takes place 100 years later. It will be DVD only. There are 3 parts plus a "Making Of".

New Haruka Game
Scheduled soon for Playstation is Harukanaru Toki no Naka de Banjou Yuugi, a board game adaption of the series. The regular version will be 4,800 yen and a Premium Box version will be 6,800 yen. Features include up to 4 players, full voice, and romance mode. A blurb about the plot in the Feb. issue of LaLa reads-
One summer day, having completed her duties as miko, the Ryuujin no Miko, Motomiya Akane wakes up. She feels something is wrong and discovers there are 4 mikos including herself!! Fuji-hime's investigation reveals that the 4 mikos are trapped in a dream world because of an Oni curse. In order to break the curse, she has to pick out the true feelings of the miko with the strongest will and discover the false miko. But, because of the curse, she can hardly use her powers as miko anymore.

Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 2
The sequel is scheduled for September 28 and is for Japanese Windows95/98/ME, the price is 8,800 yen. There will also be a limited Premium Box for 10,800 yen with 16 "brocade postcards" with character illustrations. Besides an all new cast, it features multiple storylines (a main storyline and romance storylines), more importance placed on giving the Hachiyou ecouragement during battles, and an Internet community space for girls called "Harukeshi Miyako" where you can also download extra events.

A Mizuno Tooko 2001 Calender Box is coming in December from Hakusensha. It comes with a calender, a special clear case, 8 postcards, stickers, an illustration, 4-panel manga collection, and other things. The price is 2,800 yen. You can only get it by preordering before October 5. See the announcement.

Haruka Desktop Accessories
Coming in September is Harukanaru Toki no Naka de Koi Emaki, a collection of desktop accessories for Windows and Macintosh. It is comprised of memorable scenes from the game and illustrations by Mizuno Tooko, and includes screen savers, wallpapers, clock and calendar programs, a mouse pad (with an original illustration), and floppy labels. National Console Support is now selling the regular version of "Harukanaru toki no naka de" for $68.


New game from Ruby Party
This isn't really Angelique related, but might be of interest to those interested in similar games. "Harukanaru toki no naka de" (In a distant time) is Ruby Party's newest game for Playstation and the newest addition to Koei's "neo-romance" series. It is a romance adventure game which takes place in an ancient Japanese fantasy setting. You play a girl who must battle evil spirits overrunning the capital with the help of 8 men. Character designs are by Mizuno Tooko whose manga on which the game is based appears in the magazine LaLa, published by Hakusensha. Due out on April 6. The regular version is 6,800 yen while the premium box version is 8,800 yen and comes with a clock.
